Privacy Policy

Short version: MonéCalc does not collect, store, or sell any personal information. All calculations run entirely in your browser. We use Google AdSense to show ads, which may set cookies.
1. Who We Are
MonéCalc (monecalc.com) is a free suite of financial calculators. We are an independent project with no affiliation with any bank, financial institution, or advisory firm. Results provided are estimates for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
MonéCalc is designed to respect your privacy by default. We do not:
- Collect, store, or transmit any personal information you enter into the calculators.
- Require you to create an account or provide an email address.
- Store your calculation inputs or results on any server.
- Sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Use session recording or heatmap tools.
All calculator logic runs entirely client-side in your web browser. No input values are ever sent to our servers.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, which pages are visited and from which countries. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data including:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page.
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level).
- Browser type, operating system, and device category.
- Referral source (e.g., search engine, direct link).
This data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not enable Google Signals or User-ID tracking.
4. Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)
MonéCalc displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These cookies allow Google and its partners to:
- Serve personalized ads based on your browsing history.
- Measure ad performance and frequency.
- Prevent you from seeing the same ad repeatedly.
- Detect and prevent invalid traffic and ad fraud.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. You can also block or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.
5. Third-Party APIs
The Currency Converter fetches live exchange rates from Frankfurter, an open-source API. This request reveals your IP address to their servers. No other personally identifiable information is transmitted. If the API is unavailable, the calculator falls back to static approximate rates served entirely from our own infrastructure.

7. Children's Privacy
MonéCalc is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our site, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since MonéCalc does not collect personal data from calculator inputs, there is nothing to access or delete on our end. For any data held by Google (Analytics / AdSense), please refer to Google's Data & Privacy tools.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Effective date" at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of MonéCalc after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
